Alan Roach Announcer

Alan Roach is an American sports announcer and radio personality. He currently broadcasts as a sports commentator on KOA in Denver, Colorado. Roach has been a sports announcer since 1990. While working for a radio station in Colorado Springs, he told a Sky Sox official that if they ever needed a public address announcer, he would do so. When the Sky Sox took him up on the offer, he took over the job and became one of the best known public-address announcers in the country. From 1993 to 2006, and briefly in 2008, he served as the announcer for the Colorado Rockies baseball team at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. He currently is an announcer for the Colorado Avalanche hockey team at the Pepsi Center and for the Denver Broncos. Roach has also done some fill-in work for the Denver Nuggets. He has also served as the PA announcer for four Super Bowls, and at the past three Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, Torino, Italy and Vancouver, British Columbia. He also announced the 2003 NHL All-Star game in Miami and 2001 Stanley Cup finals. In addition to sports announcing, Alan Roach is also lent his voice for many voice-over projects.
