Chef LJ Klink

Chef LJ Klink, born Jerald FC Klinkenberg, is the oldest of two children who were raised in the Hospitality/Restaurant industry in Washington State. Currently Chef Klink is the Director of Culinary Arts at Richland Community College in Decatur, IL as well as a tenured faculty member. Prior to arriving at RCC, Chef Klink worked as a corporate chef for URM Stores, a large grocery store chain/food purveyor in Washington state. He is a partner in the family-owned Klink's Resort based in Cheney, Washington, an hour South West of Spokane, Washington and an hour and a half north of Washington wine country. Klink is the owner of a seasoning company,Klink's Gourmet Foods, and has worked as a private chef in a high profile lodge in Alaska for the elite of the elite. When asked recently what he hopes to achieve in his career Chef Klink answered "Creating a culinary school that teaches classical cuisine, work not just on the current trends, but developing the trends of the future.
