Doral Pilling Olympic athlete
Doral William Pilling (14 January 1906 – 24 December 1982) was a Canadian athlete who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics. He was born in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. 1927 USA Track & Field Championship Meet: Javelin; 1st place, Doral Pilling, Utah State, 199’ 8 In 1928, he finished twelfth in the Olympic javelin throw event. At the 1930 Empire Games, he won the silver medal in the javelin throw competition. He died in Calgary.
