Eben Etzebeth

Eben Etzebeth (born (1991-10-29)29 October 1991) is a South African rugby union footballer. He currently plays for the Stormers in Super Rugby and for Western Province in the Currie Cup. His playing position is lock and he is known for his physical play. He made his Stormers debut on 25 February 2011 against the Hurricanes. He was a member of the South Africa Under 20 team that competed in the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship. Etzebeth was called up to the Springbok squad for the first time by new head coach Heyneke Meyer ahead of the three match series against England in June 2012. He made his first appearance in the second row alongside fellow debutant Juandré Kruger on 9th June 2012 at King's Park, Durban. South Africa were victorious by 22-17. He also played in the other 2 tests in the series as South Africa ran out 2-0 winners and presently he has 3 international caps.  ( Wikipedia article )
