James M. McCanney, M.S. received a sound classical physics training at St. Mary￢ﾀﾙs University of Minnesota. In 1970 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in physics and mathematics. He then traveled and taught Physics and Mathematics in Spanish in Latin America. He traveled to ruins of ancient cities and archeological sites, studying ruins firsthand. McCanney hosts his own weeklyradio show each Thursday. James McCanney is also related to a number of exotic claims, such as that comets are hot, dry, and that some comets gain mass by attracting material via fields generated by the comet's interaction with the sun. None of them are supported by data nor accepted by the scientific community as probable.
