James T. Campbell Historian

James t campbell

James T. Campbell is an American historian. He graduated from Yale University, in 1980, and from Stanford University, with a Ph.D. in 1989. He taught at Northwestern University and at Brown University,. He teaches at Stanford University. He collaborated with Susan Smulyan of Brown, and Ernie Limbo of Tougaloo College in creating the "Freedom Now!" website.
