Jill Moore

Jill Moore is a high school cheerleading coach from Ware Shoals, South Carolina who was involved in an alcohol and sex scandal involving cheerleaders and recuiters for the National Guard. She has been arrested and has denied all charges. According to the State, the largest newspaper of South Carolina, Moore and at least one South Carolina National Guardsman who recruited at a high school each had sex with students. In related charges, Jane Blackwell, the high school principal, was charged with hindering the investigation. Jill Moore, 28, is a married mother of two and the daughter of Dr. Marcus Bishop, the Southern Baptist pastor of the local Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Bishop was also a member of the School Board when news of the scandal was made public. He resigned from the Board within days of the scandal becoming public. According to the Greenwood County sheriff's reports, Moore began having an affair with Sgt. 1st Class Thomas Fletcher, 29, whom she met through the school. Moore was also accused of having sex with a male student on a different occasion, according to the reports.
