Manish Sisodia

Manish Sisodia (born 5 January 1972) is an Indian social activist, recognized for being a key member in the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement and Team Anna. Formerly a news producer at Zee News, Manish is an active RTI activist. He is the co-founder of Kabir and with Arvind Kejriwal started "Public Cause Research Foundation," NGOs aimed at creating awareness about Indian laws like the RTI. Manish is editor of a hindi monthly Apna Panna. After referring the lokpal bill to Standing committee,the bill was presented to both houses of parliament in the winter session.However, according to India Against Corruption it was a weak bill lacked effective measures.The bill was passed in the Loksabha, but it could not be passed by Rajyasabha.In the budget session the bill was decided to be referred to select committee for further recommendations. Now India against corruption has come to a conclusion that 15 tainted ministers in the central cabinet are behind the delay in the process of passing of a strong Lokpal bill.Therefore India Against Corruption demanded establishment of Special Investigation Team to investigate corruption charges against 15 tainted cabinet ministers and  ( Wikipedia article )
