Matt Lare

Matthew Joseph Lare Jr. (born December 22, 1983 in Harris, NY) is a former professional wrestler. He wrestled under the name KOR. He is a native of Sullivan County, NY. Lare turned professional at age 17 while attending Santaluces High School in Lantana, FL. At 19 years old Lare was signed with Extreme Championship Wrestling based out of Philadelphia. With his time in ECW he held the ECW tag titles with Simon Dimond and went on to win the ECW TV championship from Rhyno to be the last one to ever hold the TV championship from the company. Known for his Hardcore wrestling style and ablility to withstand pain, Lare became a force in the wrestling world. IWGP in Japan signed him for a 3 month contract to bring in outside talent with a following of hardcore style. Lare has competed with WWE, TNA, IWGP, ECW, and over 35 independant companies. Lare has had TV appearances for most all companies he worked with or dark matches. His greatest run was with Major League Wrestling (MLW) where he cemented his name in hardcore wrestling by doing barbed wire explosion death match with extreme wrestling legend Sabu.
