Pat Prescott

Pat Prescott is a radio disc jockey and co-host of the Brian McKnight Morning Show with Pat Prescott on KTWV 94.7 The Wave in Los Angeles. Pat is a native of Hampton, Virginia and began her radio career at WYLD-FM in New Orleans, after teaching junior high school for five years. Pat later moved to New York, where she worked as music director and midday announcer at jazz station WRVR. She held a number of positions at WBLS and WLIB, including morning show host, news announcer, talk show host and public affairs director. Pat spent thirteen years as morning show host at New York¬タルs smooth jazz station CD 101.9. For ten years, Pat was a member of the New York company of theoff-Broadway hit musical, MAMA I WANT TO SING, created by legendary NewYork disc jockey Vy Higginsen. Pat played the disc jockey/narrator ofthe story which was based on the life of Higginsen's late sistersinger/songwriter Doris Troy. In 2001 she moved to Los Angeles to co-host The Dave Koz Morning Show with Pat Prescott on KTWV. After six years co-hosting with Koz, Pat now co-hosts with McKnight. Pat's voice can be heard on many programs and commercials.
