Phill Shatter Chadwick "Chad" Lail (born 1982) is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, where he performs under the ring name Gunner. In TNA, Lail was a member of the Immortal stable and a former one-time TNA Television Champion. In addition to wrestling for TNA, Lail also performs for various promotions on the independent circuit under the ring name Phill Shatter. After serving in the Iraq War, Phill Shatter signed with NWA Anarchy along with fellow Iraq War veteran Truitt Fields. Although they began competing as a tag team, Shatter eventually turned on Fields and joined manager Jeff G. Bailey's NWA Elite stable. Shatter feuded with Iceberg before receiving a championship match against NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Ace Rocwell. Shatter won the match and the title. Shatter later won the NWA National Heavyweight Championship from Crusher Hansen on January 17, 2009, and is the longest reigning champion in the title's history. Shatter would drop the championship to Chance Prophet on February 19, 2011, after signing a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
