Scott McQuade Professional Association Football Player
Scott McQuade is a footballer from Dumfries who has previously been on the books as a full time professional with Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Scott McQuade grew up in Dumfries. While at school he played for the school team as well as juggling Saturday and Sunday football playing for local side Lochar Thistle and Ayrshire club Kingsmead. McQuade was then selected to represent Dumfries and Galloway region. Also in the same Dumfries and Galloway team was Kevin Kyle and Allan Jenkins. McQuade's first senior terms were with Rangers from whom he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers. His career was blighted by a serious injury. Mcquade went from Wolves to Cowdenbeath on 23 January 2002. McQuade was then signed by manager Rowan Alexander of then Unibond Northern League Gretna in 2002. Since Gretna McQuade has played for various clubs in the Ayrshire Junior and South of Scotland leagues.
